Equilibrium
When we begin to reason with our own emotions, we can begin to understand, reflect, and progress. Wanting to learn why we feel the way we feel is the first step into understanding our ourselves; our triggers, our likes, our dislikes, fears, passions, and more. Not only will we be better able to understand ourselves, but others as well, thus building up our relationships with, and empathy for, one another.
Dreaming Dead
I created this piece as a call to action. Just as King Jr. was advocate for non violent protest - this is mine. A protest to the American people to vote. A protest to the American people to rally up in non violent acts to create waves of momentum to change the political structure. A protest to end poverty. A protest to end discrimination of gender, race, and religious views. A protest to end corruption. And a protest to disenfranchise anything that devalues us & our self worth.
Say It, Don’t Spray It
Remember that saying as a child, “say it, don’t spray it”? It was a simple phrase made up to help kids remember to not spit when speaking and to enunciate everything they’re trying to say. It also holds a double meaning behind it; third, if you also take into consideration our current situation of a global pandemic.
