Unicorn College is an Information Technology College located in Prague, Czech Republic. The assignment was to update their existing embellishment for a new mascot logo. The challenge in it of itself was to portray the College as such with a Unicorn - as unicorns are usually associated with femininity and fairy tales, not masculinity or Information Technology.

Avoiding the exotic and bright colors normally associated with the saturated hues of such horse, I decided to use the colors already in their original branding. The newly created mascot sits perfectly cradled by the feminine yet traditional curvatures of the “U” and “C” serif letters, while simultaneously framing the masculinity of the Unicorn’s blue hues and horn; moving the eye and creating balance between both genders interested in Information Technologies.
