This project was a simulated rebranding of Alamo Botanicals located out of San Antonio, Texas. Alamo Botanicals is a hemp and CBD based store dedicated to helping individuals with their personalized medicinal needs.

I approached Alamo Botanicals with the hopes of shedding a light, other than what is normally shed, on the cannabis industry. Most people understand that Cannabis is usually associated with criminal or unproductive behaviors and I instead wanted to showcase the positive aspects of it.

Using greens and gold together gives the essence of earth tones and a focus on herbalism while simultaneously giving the criminalized word “cannabis” an association that pertains to the upper class. The simplicity of the style mimics those of high end brands such as Giorgio Armani or Chanel. The rebranding and remarking of Alamo Botanicals can now pertain to a wider audience of cannabis enthusiasts.
